The game starts by selecting a dealer who will act last during the betting rounds. While playing, one needs to follow certain rules. This game allows a maximum of ten players to play it. In Omaha Poker each player is dealt with four cards an in turn deals five community cards. This interesting game gives an opportunity to the player to make the best five cards hand using two of their pocket cards and three community cards. All the four cards owned by the player needs to be disclosed in order to qualify for winning a pot and if you hide any two of your cards you will forfeit the claim on that pot. While playing this game, one has to undergo four rounds called The Preflop, The Flop, The Turn and The River.

This game is played in two form including high or low split. Player may use two different cards from their pocket to make a low and can also use two different hand cards to make a high and a combination of both. Players start the game with four cards in hand and each four card hand contains six Hold’em hands when the four cards are converted to all possible combinations like AB, AC, AD, BC, BD and CD. In Omaha Poker, one should always play for the NUT which means an unbeatable high or low hand. The player with the best 5-card hand ultimately is declared as the winner. It is important to make note of the fact of not playing Pot-Limit Omaha Poker because here you might have to pay heavily for the mistake.
